# Maverick DAO

The Maverick DAO serves as the project's governance and wealth control body, and owning a Maverick PFP grants access to it. The DAO will receive 40% of the profits generated by our tools and utilities and 40% of the royalties from the PFP collection. and 10% of the 15% fees from the metafox marketplace 

Inside the DAO, there will be a voting system that allows us to make key decisions for the project. In addition, we'll introduce a gamified staking mechanism to distribute DAO revenue to holders. We'll reveal and explain this mechanism in more detail at a later time.
